Rosebery students Rachel Brewin, Alanna Hazelewood, Sophie Cmoch, Lucy Hagley, Emma Amselem, Molly Bailey and Sophie Turney were among the students celebrating their A Level Results today. Head Girl, Amelia Casciani said: “I couldn’t have asked for a better cohort to experience the past two years with, I’m so proud of everyone for their amazing results and excited to see where the next few years will take us all.”
David Lach, Head of School at Rosebery, part of GLF Schools, expressed his pride at how well the students had performed throughout the academic year and in their final assessments, which saw 53% of entries graded as A* or A. Ros Allen, Executive Headteacher, continued: "After such a challenging year for all young people undertaking external qualifications, Rosebery School has been celebrating the hard work, resilience and character of our A-Level students, who have achieved excellent results today. "It was a delight to share in the relief and joy of our students after many months of understandable uncertainty and anxiety. Following a highly rigorous process of internal assessment over many months, the students’ tenacity and talent have earned them superb grades, which have ensured that many are now able to pursue their chosen degree courses, often at very competitive universities. "The cancellation of the usual examination process has caused significant additional work for our teachers and administrators, and these results are also a tribute to their professionalism and expert judgement which has ensured that our students have received the grades that their work and effort deserves."
