 When Ashleigh Daniels took on a new career as a carer, she chose to work at the same home care company which had made a difference to her own family’s life.

 World Book Day at St St Charles’ Catholic Primary School held a day of activities to celebrate World Book Day, with pupils donning costumes and taking part in literary-themed quizzes and writing exercises.
 Literary characters were brought to life at six Surrey schools, each a member of GLF Schools, as pupils and staff at Banstead Infants, The Vale (Epsom), Salfords, Hillcroft (Caterham), Cordwalles (Camberley), Pine Ridge & Lorraine (Camberley) celebrated the 25th anniversary of World Book Day.
 Literary characters were brought to life by more than 40 members of staff who embraced World Book Day today at a Wisbech academy.
Students were invited to spot the characters to enter a competition to help mark the national event which encourages a love of books among school pupils. |
