A teacher from Hillcroft Primary School in Caterham has been attracting pupils from all over the world after her IT lessons proved a global hit.
Pupils at Hammond School have had something in common with Europe’s top footballers this summer – they have both been competition for their own Golden Boot trophy.  Pupils from Danetree Primary School in West Ewell put their best feet forward in the fight to find a cure for cancer recently when the school organised its own Race for Life event – bringing in over £3000 in the fight against the killer disease.  Lime Tree Primary School in Merstham found one of its classrooms strangely full of teachers and short on children the other week as educators from across the south east of England flocked to the school for a special training day in how to use the latest Google for Education classroom apps.  Pupils at Cuddington Croft Primary School in Cheam were given a lesson they will not forget in a hurry recently when the husband of one of the school staff shared his memories of the eight years he spent living in Kenya.  The sporting summer of 2016 may seem to be dominated by the Euros and Rio Olympic Games but the young cricketers of Springfield Primary School in Sunbury have done their bit to fly the flag for cricket after reaching the grand finals of the Surrey Kwik Cricket tournament.  Teachers from across the south east of England became pupils for a day the other week as they attended a Google Apps for Education training day at Lime Tree Primary School in Merstham.
Whyteleafe School opened its doors to the young musicians of the locality the other week when it played host to the Tandridge Area orchestra day.  Staff and pupils at Chestnut Park Primary School in Croydon have more than reasons than most to look forward to the imminent end of term, as it will mark the end of their first year of existence – and the beginning of a whole new chapter at the school’s permanent home.  |
