 Staff at a Cambridgeshire school literally wore the world this week when languages were celebrated in style.
With team members from across the globe, from Canada to South Africa and all points in between, there was no shortage of colourful costumes to mark a week celebrating languages at the Thomas Clarkson Academy, Wisbech.

 A search for music teachers has been launched by a leading group of West Norfolk schools after a surge in demand for singing lessons from students.
West Norfolk Academies Trust has seen a huge rise in secondary school pupils keen to learn how to sing after the lifting of Covid restrictions impacting music lessons.  Students and staff at St Clement’s High School have raised hundreds of pounds to help children with genetic disorders by taking part in a national fundraiser.
The school in Terrington St Clement, which is part of West Norfolk Academies Trust, raised more than £400 during its annual Jeans for Genes event.  When it comes to caring, Sharon Newman takes the approach of treating every person she looks after like a member of her own family.
Now the kindness and compassion in her work has led to a GEM award from Norfolk home care company Extra Hands, in recognition of how she helped a service user and her family through some difficult and stressful emergency situations.  Carer Sue Symington has proved she is willing to go the extra mile in her job - by walking that distance to get to an appointment after her car broke down.
The incident happened after she finished her first visit one morning and she found her car suddenly wouldn’t start.  Pupils at a Morpeth school had an inspirational visit from a local children’s author and artist, which included learning how to draw their own version of her popular dog character.
Kate Simpson, who is also based in the town, specialises in fine art drawings of animals and her corgi Ralph gave her the idea for two of her children’s books.
