![]() The achievements of students at a King’s Lynn secondary school have been celebrated at a special presentation evening held in their honour. More than 100 Year 11 graduate students at Springwood High School, a member of the West Norfolk Academies Trust, were joined by 280 relatives and friends in the school’s Peter Hopkins Hall for the event which saw a host of certificates and prizes awarded.

Kerry Williams, who lives in North Walsham, joined the Broadland office of award-winning home care company Extra Hands in February 2021, when the pandemic saw her previous job become increasingly stressful and isolated. Gaywood Primary School, a member of the West Norfolk Academies Trust, raised £2,586 for The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House last month, making them the biggest fundraiser among the schools that took part in the charity’s Rudolph Run. ![]() A King’s Lynn school known for its strength in music is opening its doors to musicians in the wider community. Springwood High School, a member of the West Norfolk Academies Trust, is launching two new Community Musical Ensembles, which will be open not only to students but also to adults in the West Norfolk area. Carer Tracey Sanchez took the honour at the Horsham St Faith office of Extra Hands, following a nomination from the family of a grateful service user.
