​HOW VOGUE FOUND LOVE ON PLANET GLADIATOR

Gladiators star Vogue has said some playground behaviour on the set of the smash hit TV show led to her life changing in a way she could not have imagined. Speaking to The GladPod, a podcast all about Gladiators, Vogue - aka Suzanne Cox – revealed how she got closer to one of the contestants than planned, 1997 quarter-finalist Mark Roberts; so close in fact that they ended up getting married and having two children.

“I made the mistake at the time – but obviously it turned out to be a good one – of telling Jenny (WHO IS THIS?), and it was like being back at school,” she said. “I called it being on Planet Gladiator, everyone knew everyone’s business, and one day she went up to him and said “my friend fancies you,” it was literally that simple!

“We were both totally embarrassed, people were trying to push us together but as it happened we had a chat, went for coffee, went away from everyone else, spent half a day together, realised we got on really well and it was meant to be!”
