An award-winning home care company is hosting a virtual hiring event next week to recruit for a variety of caring positions as the company continues to grow. Extra Hands - based in Heacham - have roles available for those looking for full-time work and wishing to become a social carer, support worker, care assistant, or health care assistant to provide domiciliary care to people with a range of disabilities. There are slots available throughout the day on Wednesday (September 1) for the family-run firm, which was set up in 1993, has over 175 staff, and whose Heacham team was rated as outstanding by the CQC.
"Whether you are looking for your first job or looking to change your career and enter the world of care, we have a position for you," said Zoe Back, director at Extra Hands which covers the whole of West Norfolk, and has the GEM awards every quarter for those staff members who go the extra mile. "We pride ourselves on providing our service users with an excellent service and reliable care that puts their mind at ease. "We help people who are living in their own homes to maintain a good standard of life, enabling them to achieve their own potential and maximise their independence. Our aim is to treat everyone in a fair, respectful and dignified manner, to provide the highest standards of care achievable and ensure family values are at the forefront of our delivery of care." Those wishing to secure a place for this event are asked to sign up via https://events.indeed.com/event/116090/ After signing up, an email will be sent with instructions on how to connect to the interview with staff at Extra Hands, which provides a wellbeing check service that provides short visits to check up on care users when friends and family are unable to make the visit, giving everyone peace of mind. People will need to have a copy of their CV to hand and are being encouraged to join the virtual interview from a quiet place using a desktop or mobile device with a working speaker, microphone and camera.
