![]() Students and staff at Three Rivers Academy in Hersham were celebrating a fantastic set of results at A Level this morning. The vast majority of students gained a place at the university of their choice. Individual achievements include Emil Hughes and Matt Hall who both gained three A* grades; Matt is now looking forward to starting a Degree Apprenticeship with an international Law firm.
Head Girl, Ella Sparrowhawk obtained two A* and one A grade and has been accepted to study Curating and Art History at York University. The school, part of The Howard Partnership Trust, also celebrated the achievements of students taking vocational courses, such as Lucy Eaton-Tribe who has been offered a place at Bath University having achieved D*D*D in Cambridge Technical Sport and Physical Activity. Principal Barbara Mayaire said “We are incredibly proud of our Year 13 students’ achievements whose hard work and dedication have been rewarded despite the challenges the last two academic years have presented. "Our Sixth Form is a place where all students can prosper, and we are delighted to see our numbers grow year on year." She added: "I would also like to give special thanks to our committed staff, especially the Sixth Form team who have supported students throughout their time here. Student achievement at Three Rivers Sixth Form continues to display how we are thriving as a school community.”
