Gladiators cover girl Vogue, aka Suzanne Cox, has revealed one of the sauciest secrets of one of the smash hit show. Speaking to the GladPod, presented by former Gladiator Jet and journalist David Blackmore, she solved the riddle of how the contestants' super-tight costumes stayed on and in place. "There was a thing we all used to use - I’d never used it before, but apparently it’s a bodybuilding thing, called bum sticks," she explained. "It's a bit like a roll-on deodorant, but it contains skin glue. I don’t think the guys used it but we girls used to use it constantly, so when we were rolling around, our bums didn’t hang out!
"I remember in between takes we were always rolling our bottoms with this bum glue, and one of the boys, Cobra, said ‘when I die, I want to come back as a bum stick’!" The GladPod is seeking to talk to the biggest names involved in the show, and learn some of the stories about what went on off camera and how Gladiators have fared since the show ended.
