Forget Crufts and move over Discovering Dogs, Danetree Primary School in West Ewell was the place to be the other week for animal lovers as the Reception class hosted its own dog show – for toys.  Year Six pupils from Danetree Primary in West Ewell did their bit for international relations recently when they went on the school’s annual residential trip to northern France.  Caterham Foodbank has received a big helping hand from the pupils of Warlingham Village School after Year Five students put on a special harvest festival performance.  Families are being invited to get dressed up in their Halloween costumes and head to the heart of King’s Lynn on Monday 31 October for a Halloween spooktacular.  Much rubbish has been talked recently by the Hillcroft Primary school council – and that was just what was intended as the school’s elected decision makers got to grips with how to make Hillcroft more eco-friendly.  Year Six pupils from Cuddington Croft Primary School in Cheam nearly found themselves at the heart of one of London’s biggest news stories of recent months when they paid a visit to London Zoo – just hours before a silverback gorilla smashed his way out of his cage and went on the run.  The England football team may still be in a state of disarray after an eventful summer but for the young footballers of Springfield Primary School in Sunbury, the outlook is decidedly more positive.  Pupils at Hillcroft Primary in Caterham were given a lesson in online safety recently as the school hosted a guest speaker from the internet awareness charity the Breck Foundation.  Year Five pupils at Danetree Primary School in West Ewell had an out of this world trip to the far reaches of the galaxy recently – and all without leaving the school premises.
