Young performers at Forge Wood Primary have been working hard to ensure their nativity production hit all the right notes for parents and families who attended.
"The Christmas story was brought to life with wonderful acting, singing and dancing by the shepherds, angels and sheep. One parent commented that it was great to see the children perform with such confidence and pride," said Katharine Holman, deputy head. The school's new building was ready for the start of term in September and a special opening event was held in November, with guests joining staff and pupils for a family celebration. Pupils also celebrated the festive season with a Christmas lunch and party, a Christmas jumper day and carol singing for guests.
