Families celebrated their bond during a free photo shoot by a professional photographer in the Vancouver Quarter on Saturday 18 March. The pop up studio was situated opposite Wilko on New Conduit Street and ran from 11am to 4pm and saw 57 children have a picture with their family.
The families booked their slots online to ensure their family was captured ahead of Mother’s Day and are now able to download them for free from the shopping centre’s website. The next free event in the Vancouver Quarter is a Mother’s Day Workshop with the Fairyland Trust on Saturday (March 25). This will be followed by a series of free, family-friendly activities next month. There will be a Spring-themed workshop on April 6 with the shopping centre then relaunching its Saturday Clubs with a special workshop with the Fairyland Trust on April 8. An Egg and Spoon Business Racing Challenge will take place near Sainsbury’s on April 11 with an Easter Bonnets and Basket workshop happening on April 13. Then on April 15, there will be an special Easter Egg Trail from 1pm to 5pm that is based on the Vancouver Quarter’s popular annual Halloween trail.
