There were celebrations all round when the Class of 2023 received their A Level results at Oxted School. The students were the first post-pandemic cohort to sit exams and distinguished themselves with some impressive grades, with many securing places at prestigious universities across the country. Among the high achievers at the school were two students heading to Cambridge University; another will study at Oxford; others will be going to Bath, Bristol, Southampton and the University of Kent.
“The Class of 2023 will go down as such a great year group,” said Russell Bond, Principal at the school, a member of The Howard Partnership Trust. “They have overcome every hurdle put in their way with such class and dignity. “This summer they sat the most important exams of their lives, with most of them never having sat a real public exam before. Whilst nervous, they never let nerves get the better of them, and that can be seen in their fantastic results today. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.” “I am so unbelievably proud of this year group,” added Head of Sixth Form at Oxted, Kate Stodart. “I have watched them grow since Year 7 and to see them leave as well-rounded adults, ready to take on the world, is heart filling. “Go, be amazing, and keep achieving. We will miss you all.”
