He was educated at the former Glyn Grammar School, (now Glyn School) also a member of the GLF Trust. “It was a pleasure to speak to such an engaged group of children. They gave me their own version of Prime Minister’s Question Time including a few surprises! It’s clear that the standard of teaching and pastoral care here is exceptional,” he said. Trust CEO Julian Drinkall said: "We were delighted to welcome John Milne MP and are sincerely grateful for the time he dedicated to engaging in meaningful discussions about enhancing provisions for children in our primary school. John’s valuable insights and unwavering commitment to improving educational opportunities for the next generation are truly appreciated. We look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of our young learners." Becky Jones, Director of SEND, Inclusion and Vulnerable Groups, GLF Schools added that great inclusive provision prioritise children leading healthy, active lives and participating in their wider communities. “Schools are not islands - we need strong partnerships with the local community to create the holistic opportunities for our children that we know are essential for their wellbeing. So we were delighted to have the opportunity to talk with John Milne about some of our ideas for working together in the Horsham and West Sussex community, to focus on what we can to improve provision and opportunities for our children and their families, despite funding challenges.”
