Children at a West Norfolk school have raised over £800 at their annual Christmas Fair. The pupils at Snettisham Primary, which is part of the West Norfolk Academies Trust, hosted a range of Christmas-themed activities, and sold refreshments and festive goods at this year’s event, which was organised by the Friends of Snettisham Primary School, and was supported by family and friends. Stalls featured sweets, tattoos, a nail station, Santa’s Grotto, and home-made crafts and decorations, while games on offer included classics such as hook-the-duck.
Visitors also enjoyed tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cakes, sandwiches and candy floss. Friends of Snettisham Chair Rebecca Chilvers said: “We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the parents and carers who attended our Christmas Fair. Your presence and support were instrumental in making this event a resounding success, raising an incredible £803.74 for our school. “The funds raised will be used to provide essential resources, enhance learning experiences and support extracurricular activities that enrich our school life.” “We are immensely grateful to our dedicated committee members who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to organise this event,” she continued. “Their commitment and dedication ensured that every detail was meticulously planned and executed, creating a truly enjoyable experience for our school community. “The festive atmosphere, the delicious food and refreshments, and the array of activities and stalls, all contributed to making the fair a memorable occasion for all.”
