Pupils from Warlingham Village Primary School put their best feet forward to give a lovely display to visitors arriving at Blanchman’s Farm Nature Reserve on Saturday. (17)
The young dancers from Years 1 and 2 had been rehearsing hard for their show and the 30-strong group got the day’s events under way in the main arena.
“The children did really well, despite the sweltering heat, and gave a lovely performance at the village’s main event of the year. We are all very proud of them” said Mrs Sam Spence and Mrs Laura Boot the Years 1 and 2 teachers.
The annual fair started with a parade from Redvers Road before a variety of events, from BMX stunt cycling to a fun dog show took place at the reserve. The community event also included a teddy bears’ picnic for younger visitors and a range of refreshments and attractions.
