Following the lead of the charity campaign's mascot Pudsey the Bear, children donned bear ears, spotty clothing and took part in a fund-raising cake sale.
"The whole school got into the spirit of the campaign and it made for a wonderful day," said assistant headteacher Claire Martin. "We swapped our smart uniform for spotty clothes, face paints and Pudsey ears and have enjoyed a day full of Pudsey inspired activities." William Morris is a member of the GLF schools group, a multi-academy organisation which runs more than 27 schools across the south east of England, based on a collaborative management philosophy. "The children were really excited to take part and wanted to do as much as possible for such a wonderful cause," added Ms Martin. "I'd like to say a big thank you to all the children, parents and staff for their support – it was a spot-acular success!".
