Children dressed up in a variety of fun Halloween costumes to pack Kings Lynn on Monday for a Halloween spooktacular. Youngsters of all ages reported to a special Halloween Headquarter on Baxter’s Plain to collect their special Halloween map before making their way round the town centre collecting stamps from retailers.
Those who collected stamps were rewarded with a goodie bag from the Vancouver Quarter and the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk. They were also entered into a prize draw with one lucky child set to win £250 to spend on toys. Abbie Panks, Vancouver Quarter Centre Manager, said: “We’d like to thank everyone who took part in our Halloween event this year, we had lots of very happy children throughout the afternoon, it was fantastic to see so many smiling faces” “We were delighted by the positive feedback we received from parents, and we hope the children enjoyed collecting the stamps before tucking into their goodie bag packed with sweets. “I’d like to thank the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk for teaming up with us again for this event, and to the wonderful support staff who helped us pack the thousands of goodie bags and supported the event on the day.”
