Children can create a special Spring basket during a free workshop being held in the Vancouver Quarter on Easter Saturday. The activity will be situated in the former Calendar Club unit next to Costa Coffee and opposite Wilkinson on New Conduit Street and run from 10am to 3pm on Saturday 26 March.
Youngsters, who must be three years and above, will have the option of three designs – Bunny, Chick, and Lamb. There will be six 45-minute sessions, starting at 10am, 10.45am, 11.30am, 12.15pm, 1.30pm, and 2.15pm, but places need to be booked in advance as there are only limited places available. “Our workshops on Easter Saturday will be ensure kids have a cracking time in the Vancouver Quarter,” centre manager Abbie Panks said. “But please don’t delay in making your booking as we anticipate these six sessions being fully booked up in the days leading up to Easter. This workshop comes after a special free Mother’s Day photoshoot in the Vancouver Quarter on Saturday 20 February, and a plant pot decorating workshop ahead of Mother’s Day on Saturday 5 March. There will be plenty of other free events in the Vancouver Quarter this year, including the return of our very popular Halloween event and Christmas Grotto. Next up will be free Easter activities at the end of March.
