Children at Forge Wood Primary School in Crawley rounded off a lively first term of being open with their nativity show ‘A miracle in town’ last week. The school, currently based on a temporary site on Somerley Drive whilst its new permanent home is being built, was opened by the GLF Schools multi-academy trust in September, so the traditional academic year milestone that is the Christmas production had extra significance for all involved.
“It was an absolute delight to watch the show, the children really enjoyed being part of it,” said Forge Wood’s head teacher Jo Newton. “Considering this is their first term in school, they put in great effort, remembering the story, learning all the songs and putting on a wonderful show for all the friends and family who came to see them perform. This was a very special moment in Forge Wood’s history and one that we will all remember for a very long time” said Deputy head teacher Katharine Holman. Forge Wood Primary School is holding open mornings for prospective parents on Tuesday 10th January at 9.30am and Thursday 12th January at 9.30am, please contact the school office to book your place.
