Seven days ahead of the big weekend will be a special spring workshop aimed at three to eight-year-olds. It will be held on Thursday, April 6 from 10am to 3pm and promises to be messy fun for all the family. No advance booking is needed, but all youngsters must be accompanied.
Thursday, April 13, will see an Easter bonnets and baskets workshop with 20 free places available for four sessions at 10am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm. The baskets and bonnets will come in very useful for the Vancouver Quarter’s Unmissable Easter Egg Trail on Saturday, April 15.
The team will be hiding 15 giant Easter eggs, each displaying something unique, around Baxter’s Plain and the New Conduit Street areas of the town. Families need to find all 15 from 1pm to 5pm, mark them on the map provided and return it to the Vancouver Quarter for the chance to win £250 of shopping vouchers
Anyone who manages to correctly find ten or more eggs will also receive an Easter treat.
Keeping to the egg theme, businesses in King’s Lynn will be competing in this year’s egg and spoon race on Tuesday, April 11 at 2pm. The three-legged racers will be negotiating a course on Baxter’s Plain to battle for the honours of top team. Teams are asked to arrive at 1.50pm to make sure everyone is signed-up.
The Spring Workshop and Easter Bonnets and Baskets will be held next to Costa Coffee and Wilkos at 27 New Conduit Street. Further information on all the events is available by email from: firstname.lastname@example.org or on the website www.VancouverQuarter.com
