Children show their love for their Mum with special gift decorated during Mother’s Day workshop7/3/2016 Children created a special gift for their Mum during a family-fun workshop held in the Vancouver Quarter ahead of Mother’s Day. The free plant pot decorating activity was situated in the former Calendar Club unit next to Costa Coffee and opposite Wilkinson on New Conduit Street and ran from 10am to 3pm on Saturday 5 March. Once the plant pots were decorated, they were then filled with glitter soil and a plant.
“Our Mother’s Day workshop was incredibly well attended and was arguably our most popular workshop yet,” centre manager Abbie Panks said. “All the children wanted to make something very special for their mum and we hope their mothers enjoyed receiving the carefully decorated plant pots. “We will continue to run free events for families to attend throughout the year with our next workshop helping families to celebrate the arrival of Spring on Easter Saturday by decorating a special Spring basket. “This event is booking up fast so we’ve just created an extra afternoon session but please don’t delay in making your booking as we anticipate the remaining places to be snapped up quickly.”
