Oakham Ales took its brand new look to the streets of London to take part the sixth Craft Beer Rising event which attracts thousands of visitors in the capital.
The popular event in Shoreditch included street food, international DJ sets and, of course, the best beers on offer from across the world - with Oakham names from the company’s Peterborough award-winning base among them once again.
It was Oakham Ales' first event to showcase the re-branded labels of popular beers and the redesign, announced at the back end of last year, is already proving popular with customers.
The stand at this year’s Craft Beer Rising event also included a box of Citra hops - which gave customers a unique chance to sniff out why the beers made by Oakham Ales are so tasty.
“We were delighted to be back at Craft Beer Rising. It is always a fantastic event and it was the perfect place to highlight our new look and new labels,” said managing director Adrian Posnett.
“The rebrand has certainly struck a chord with our customers and we are delighted at how our year has started. There is lots to look forward to in the coming months and we will continue to work hard to ensure Oakham is at the heart of all that is good in the brewing industry in our 25th year in business.”
Oakham’s American Pale, Tiki Blonde and Green Devil IPA, all from the Craftworks keg range, were on tap at the three day event, which was held at the Old Truman Brewery and attracted more than 12,000 visitors. The ever-popular and award-winning Citra was also on offer and the firm favourite went down well.
From the beginning of this year, the new labeling has been redesigned with a contemporary look and Oakham is the first brewery to incorporate tasting notes based on customer feedback. Details of the hops used within beer are also included, so customers know exactly what they are getting.
