The 46-strong cast performed an exclusive preview for the group of younger children ahead of the official opening night of the popular musical.
“The students were incredible and should be extremely proud of themselves. It was an absolute pleasure to watch such an accomplished performance. It was a slick, professional production and a huge amount of work went into the staging of Annie. I must extend my thanks to all the staff, students and volunteers that were involved,” said headteacher Jeremy Garner. Annie is set in New York City in 1930 and tells the story of a young orphan, played by Caitlin Etheridge, and her beloved dog Sandy, (Odie Etheridge.)
